DUNDAS VALLEY HOME

Mid-Century Revival: A Color Story

This mid-century home, nestled in a ravine lot in the picturesque Dundas Valley, was given a stylish yet comfortable redesign while preserving it’s original charm.

For the homeowners, a space capable of hosting friends and family was essential, with nothing deemed “too precious”. The family room blends contemporary comfort with a heritage ethos. Custom-designed contemporary seating and tables live happily alongside treasured vintage objects, colourful textiles, and the client’s extensive art collection.

The bedrooms are a sanctuary of both style and comfort. In one guestroom, contemporary photography inspires an earthy palette of sand and terracotta that envelops the space. The horizontal velvet headboard, brass lighting, and luxe bedding create a warm retreat, inviting guests to unwind and relax.

Another guestroom takes on a serene and tranquil atmosphere with a soothing blue color palette. Polar photography adorns the walls, infusing the room with a sense of natural wonder and exploration. Washed woods and custom- designed contemporary furniture pieces create perfect balance of comfort and contemporary aesthetics.
